Hitchazkut
Other
Hitchazkut refers to the process of self-strengthening or fortification, particularly in spiritual or emotional contexts. Often used within Judaism the concept highlights the continuous journey of personal growth, resilience, and spiritual enlightenment. It underscores the significance of perseverance, encouraging individuals to renew their commitment to their beliefs, principles, or goals, especially in the face of challenges or setbacks.
Power of Small Acts in Great Depths One must consider that even in the state of being distanced from Hashem, feeling constantly flawed or sinful, there is great value in every effort made towards Avodas Hashem. This is especially so for someone wrestling with a powerful Yetzer Hara, leading them into continual transgressions. For such an individual, every minute struggle against the Yetzer Hara, every effort to separate from materialistic tendencies, and each turn towards the fear of Hashem and adherence to the Torah, hold immense value. It is precisely by such an individual, that each small step is seen as precious in the eyes of Hashem.[1]
