A Nisayon refers to a difficult circumstance or situation that an individual encounters, designed to test their faith, character, or adherence to moral and religious principles. These tests or challenges are considered opportunities for spiritual growth and development.

A person who withstands Nisayon in This World even on a minor level, advances great distances in the Upper Worlds.[1]
