Rabbi Efraim Zalman Margaliot (also spelled Margolies, Margolis, or Margaliyot) was a renowned Jewish scholar and rabbi during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He is often associated with the city of Brody (now in Ukraine), where he served as a rabbi and community leader.
Sefarim Rabbi Efraim Zalman Margaliot was a noted authority in Jewish law (Halakha) and authored "Bais Efraim", a collection of his halakhic decisions and responses. This work is often referenced in contemporary discussions of Jewish law. He also authored Pri Tevuah.[1]
