Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Horowitz (1745–1815), is also known as the Seer - Chozeh of Lublin.
Family Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Horowitz was a Levy and his father's name was Rabbi Avraham Eliezer.[1] Haskamos He wrote a Haskama for Likutey Moharan which is printed at the beginning of the Sefer. Signed on 26 Teves 5568 (January 7, 1808) he refers to Rebbe Nachman as his Mechuton[1] since their children married into the same family. He mentions that he normally refrained from giving Haskamot, but for Rebbe Nahcman he made an exception although he did not personally know him personally.[1]
